My name is Mark Sniffen, I am a 4th year film student. I am co-directing and acting as vfx supervisor for a science fiction short film called Elysium. I am using blender exclusively for all the 3d modelling and animation in the film. The M4 Carbine has been the weapon of choice for US soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001, and is still used today. The meaning of the film is open to interpretation, but I’ve always found an interest with the war in the middle east and our involvement with it. I wanted the film to be politically evocative, yet aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to watch.

Pyppet for Blender
Pyppet 1.0 is nearly finished with development, I am fixing the final bugs now and adding the last few features. I have ported it to work with Blender 2.49, it will not work yet with Blender2.5svn. Recently i have added physics smoothing to give the puppets more ease-in/out and many physics options, improved the wiimote controls, and load/save controllers config.
